THE DRIVING TEST

After you have passed theory test and when you and your Pace Driving School Instructor agree that you are ready, it will be time for you to take your driving test.

On the day of your driving test we encourage you to have a one hour driving lesson immediately prior to your test. This is to get you in the right frame of mind and to overcome any pre-test nerves. Your driving instructor will accompany you to the test centre whether it's in Gillingham, Maidstone, Gravesend or Sidcup. They will make sure that everything goes smoothly and will wait for you at the centre whilst you take your driving test or, if you want them to, they will accompany you on the test. This can be arranged with the examiner when you meet him or her.

Once you have taken the test the examiner will inform you of the result, hopefully good news, and will then give you some feedback. It's good to have your driving instructor is present at this point in order that they can clarify anything you are not sure about.
